In defense of the scared shitless, (and those are the many cavers-in) - the normal fear of death has been so magnified by Leftist health dept. types that plain folks just follow the so-called experts and suffer.  For many, perhaps most, freedom will always be defeated by Fear of death.  The majority are too trusting in government authorities, and the latter are often barely competent, preferring CYA as policy.

Yeah, I assumed so, my best friend lives down there, he says people are completely irrational when it comes to masks, said they actually yell at you if you aren't wearing one.

I remember just a few short months ago that the Democrats were claiming that the lockdown would only last a couple of weeks so as to "shorten the curve". That has lasted six months or more with leftist Democrats like China Joe and Comrad Harris wanting to lengthen the shutdown for YEARS. As I have said from the start, this is ALL political and it's ALL about power and control, nothing more.
