They obviously do not require students to read Orwells "Homage to Catalonia". It is sort of funny that Orwell wanted to save socialism from itself but ended up becoming a stalwart of conservatism. It always amazes me how little these students study empirical data and just focus on theoretical models.
At least communal living is good for agriculture, Khmer Rouge forced 99,99% of the population out on the rice fields and rice production fell 90% causing famine, nice one communism.
