Title: Official list of companies to boycott
Post by: Sick Of Silence on June 04, 2020, 07:04:28 PM
If you know a company that supports leftist ideals, please list them here. Please list what they have done. If you have a quote or screenshot for the record, please include it.

I've boycotted Pepsi for two years now simply because of their remarks about this president.  That also means NO mountain dew, frito lay, doritos and lots of other stuff.   IF you are serious, you can find satisfying replacements.   I buy the diet citrus drink at Kroger to replace the mountain dew I loved.   I even like this better and its loads cheaper.

There's a few of these threads posted over the years if you do a search.
Here's one from a few years back, also there's a Tylenol boycott thread./

If you had a choice between a company talking bad about Trump, and a company supporting racist, evil black supremacy, always boycott the racism first.

In a nutshell: before you choose to do business somewhere, check the internet and social media. Research all of their associated brands as well. If they support BLM, you do not support them. Period! Vote with your wallet. May sure your friends and family does the same thing. Post it here.

there are more companies than this to boycott.   Matter of fact it would be better to have a list of products belonging to each company.   For instance...Pepsi..also makes mountain dew, doritoes, gator aid, Lays, Frito Lays, Lipton, and on and on and on for about 40 products.

People need to step up and expose these companies, including related brands. We need alternatives.

That's what this whole thread is about. We need to point out these companies, boycott them, and use alternatives. We need to break down a parent company's  brands: it is great to boycott Pepsi, but not fully productive if we are still buying Frito Lay products. If we have to use one of these companies, we need to minimize it. We need to differentiate between verbally supporting BLM and financially supporting BLM. Both are bad, but you get the point.

They could have done this long ago; the timing on the color range is suspect. But, you did notice the donation to black lies matter? That is the whole point if this thread; we will not support companies who do this.

I do find it funny that Wendy's donated to BLM, but they still burned them down the other night.

Interesting idea here:

What if there were an app that geolocated you and notified you when you're about to patronize a business that hates you. It could also monitor your purchase history sending you alerts of the same.

It would obviously be immediately weaponized in the opposite direction but perhaps it would decrease the wokeness agitprop.

That would be very easy to do.  It would have to pass the app store muster and somehow look like a neutral or leftist utility for everyone...

You mainly need a list of companies, and a rating system assigned with certain criteria. "1" being lowest and "9" being highest (or "99"). The list needs to be updated regularly, including if a company deserves to be removed if that comes up.

Donating $200million is worse that $100million.
Donating is worse that verbally supporting.
Getting involved more that one group is worse that only being involved with one.
Getting involved with BLM is far worse than being involved with the alphabet people
Etc.

Black Rifle Coffee Condemns Kyle Rittenhouse, May Dump Sponsorship Of Media Defending Him

Black Rifle Coffee is under fire from conservatives this weekend after it came out in opposition to alleged Kenosha shooter Kyle Rittenhouse wearing their t-shirt in a photo, saying the company does not engage in "legal advocacy" and seemingly threatening to end its sponsorship with The Blaze for posting the photo of the 17-year-old.
Initially, Black Rifle Coffee released a statement insisting that "we do not support legal advocacy efforts. We do not sponsor nor do we have a relationship with the 17-year-old facing charges in Kenosha, WI," as reported by Media Right News, who also reported that the company would end its advertising relationship with The Blaze over the image of Rittenhouse wearing their t-shirt.
