Title: Fat people flying
Post by: Sick Of Silence on May 29, 2021, 01:23:23 PM
If a fat person has to purchase two seats on an airplane, do they get twice the amenities?

Do they get both meals? Do they get twice the luggage capacity?

There was a recent article on fat people having to purchase a second airline seat, and it got me curious.

If it costs me about $1500 to fly from USA to Europe, am I now paying $3000? Or, am I only paying for another physical seat (lets say $500-$700)?

If I am paying for two tickets ($3000), then you damn right I want two meals, two drinks, double the luggage, and double the airline miles.

Nothing happened. I am just becoming more curious/furious about individual rights. I have no desire to fly anytime soon.

I am waiting for an alternate travel method to take the airline industry down a notch.

I'm waiting for the bridge to Hawaii. I think there still ships to Europe.

I am so grateful I no longer have to fly. My last few years I worked I was platinum on Delta and getting bumped up to first class about 90% of the time and it was still a pain.
