I remember hearing a brief news somewhere during the 1980s that Nelson Mandela had died in a prison. I was kind of shocked they dedicated so little attention to that event, since it should have been huge news. So I watched every other news that day, but they didn't mention it again at all whatsoever. So it was strange.
Years later, I heard of so-called "Mandela Effect", where they say some people are insane claiming they heard of Nelson Mandela died in prison.
So, I can figure out two possibilities. Either it was an intentional social experiment with false news. Or they have decided to replace Nelson Mandela who had died with a double.

Yeah, and when the change of the regime in South Africa became actual, and they brought up Nelson Mandela as the lider, I was like WTF didn't he die long time ago in the prison, like what is happening, I was confused, and I was convinced that it was his double.

I'm guessing the reason we even have the term, is the CIA pulled a fast one as a mind control experiment.
led people to believe a simple narrative occurred in our past, that didn't, then turned around and acted as if it never really happened, even coined a term for it. "Mandela Effect"
We all know the left is evil, everything about them is evil, especially their media, so I'm going with the thought that, they planted the story decades back, then, just like the term "Conspiracy Theorist" they coined the term "Mandela Effect"
There are even websites dedicated to it, probably created by the CIA. :lol: :lol: :lol:
