I recently heard a commercial on the radio about how wearing masks, social distancing etc. had stopped the Covid surge in schools.  As I laughed to myself the first thought was - where was the "control group"?  Sure you can claim it worked but without the scientific evidence to show that unmasked did the opposite you have no actual proof.
