Michigan Sheriffs Refuse to Enforce Gretchen Whitmer Mask Mandate
Gov. Gretchen Whitmer issued an executive order on Friday stating businesses "must" deny service to patrons not wearing a mask, and now a number of sheriffs are refusing to enforce the edict.

Van Buren County Sheriff Dan Abbott says his department won't be enforcing Gov. Whitmer's new mask mandate.

The executive order, which states business "must" deny service to patrons who aren't wearing a mask, comes with a $500 misdemeanor.

Abbott told Fox 17 he believes the order is "very bland," and that it would be "very hard to enforce."

I don't think she is counting on the law to enforce it.    His pronouncement is simply for face saving for himself. Perhaps he has political ambitions.  NOT blaming him for that...just saying what i think.    She is counting on businesses to enforce it.  THEY are doing her dirty work.  No prosecution is necessary.  Just say, 'i'm not selling to you unless you put on that mask'.    Government needs only to threaten the business owner with loss of business license and it will be enforced.

I Would personally try to get a boycott going on of every business that requires a mask for buying/selling privileges.

      That figures a mortality rate at.   0.0409

4% mortality rate is kinda high.  Even police officers death rate is like 0.01%. If they all wear vests to go outside we should all wear masks.
