Here's how I see it. There never was a Covid-19, there was only the regular flu cycle, they created this great production of people dying in the streets, hospitals being overrun with the sick and dying, all played by communist govt actors. (we never saw that here did we?)

The world believed the hoax because of actors in our very own country, people destined to become wealthy beyond their wildest dreams packed with prestige and power under the new Communist Regime.
They directed people to move the sick in with the elderly, people living out their final days already, and literally murdered them with the common Flu.
After all, the elderly are expendable where taking over the country is concerned.

My primary duty as a father and husband is to protect my family. I tried to teach my kids to be independent thinkers, not to believe the MSM, do their own research, etc. What I failed to anticipate is the effect that sending them all to college had. College not only added another layer of brainwashing, but it compelled them to associate with other college grads who were even more brain dead. My father used to say that the company you keep is stronger than your willpower.
College strongly discourages independent thinking in favor of letting the "experts" do your thinking for you. The consensus among the highly "educated" is based on "trusted sources" like the government and the nightly news. Everyone in their professional and social circles reinforce this misconception, which then leads to terminal sheepism.
Consequently, (as we all know) a great shock is needed to wake them from their slumber. As much as the audits are important, I think when the normies are finally faced with the fact that their trusted and beloved government, in collusion with big pharma, are actually trying to kill them, some epiphanies will be forthcoming.

I was lucky to go to a christian college for pastors and teachers and even there they had Sociology which tried to use false statistics to prove all the victimhood the left pushes, that women and minorities are the victims of whites. Even economics tried to paint communism and capitalism as 2 extremes with socialism the acceptable moderate position in between. And they banned smoking while I was there too.

Luckily I had also been in the army before college, so I wasnt a fresh faced little shit who believed everything he was told. But two of my 4 brothers have become atheists after going to college, tho that may have something to do with the radical leftists they are sleeping with.

VERY insightful. As the Father of two and Grand-Father of two, I can tell you that you have nailed the heartbreak, the brainwashing and the coming epiphany that SOME will have. Will that epiphany come quick enough and whether there will be enough who have it, is anyone's guess.

Atheism is a (the?) major problem for humanity. Without the recognition of a Creator, the nature of that Creator, and the simple fact that we all live in a creation, consciousness devolves into a purely materialistic world view. My friend's husband won't let her visit any friends or family. He has made her stop all contact with them unless it's on the phone or computer. He reads and censors her comments on social media. He makes her feel like she's going crazy for thinking he's controlling, and that she is being ungrateful. (After all, he's only doing this because of how much he cares about her.)

He doesn't want her going to the gym anymore, so she doesn't go. He also doesn't let her go to work anymore (he told her to only rely on him for income and that he will take care of her).

She's not really allowed to go out anymore, unless it's for necessities, and when she does, he makes sure to have people guilt trip her about it and shame her for it.

He wants her to have this medical procedure done and tells her that if she does it, he will allow her more freedoms.
He constantly says he's only doing all of this because he cares... he is just doing it for her own good.

Oh wait....did I say husband? I meant the government.
