Once you get the masses scared, you can convince them of almost anything. IMHO that is why the masks were so important, they did not protect anyone from anything but everywhere the sheeple went, they SAW the pandemic. It was everywhere! They had to get protected. In comes the jab. Without the masks, far fewer people probably would have "needed" the vaccine. It became evident from the get go that there was going to be 50% who saw through the bull sh-t, so the liberals had to turn it into a "us against the bad guys" type of hoax. When that did not work, here comes another strain and we need to mask up again. People need that visual to realize how much we need to government to tell us what to do, and the government tells us to get the jab. Once the masses get the jab, they will not admit they were wrong.
Now add the need for the masks to get attention away from the economy, Afghanistan, etc, and we may never see the need for them to go away.

I am sorry that you were on a jackhammer all day but, you have more intelligence than you believe. I hadn't thought of it this way and you may very well have a valid point. The masks won't protect anyone but, they do emphasize to everyone that they "have" to get the "vaccine" and they "have" to wear a mask or they will get infected and "die". You are also correct that it is completely based on politics not science and is a hoax.

The average "woke" person is not paying attention to the actual facts, they are just believing whatever the CDC and the DNC tells them. They are told that it is all based on "science" so they believe it. They are told that they "have" to "social distance" and they "have" to wear a mask. As I have said before, if the CDC and the DNC tells them to roll in dog feces to be "safe", they would do that also.
