Last book I've read was something to do with managing artillery.

I'm a huge American Civil War self professed historian.  Ever since the summer vactaion my family took to Gettysburg, when I was 10 years old, (after picking blackberries all summer.)  I was hooked on the war from that tender age.  I could never get my hands on enough books.  (I started this when computers were called books.)

I have over 10k in personal library on the ACW, and I am still accumulating.

There is something about Gettysburg that for me is sad, all the men who died there. And yet it is a beautiful place. You may have read these.

'Battle Cry of Freedom,' James McPherson

'The definitive history of the Civil War. One of the greatest works of history I've ever read and arguably the best one-volume history in existence...'

'The Impending Crisis, 1848-1861' by David M. Potter '
