Title: Nevada Becomes First State To Impose Surcharge On Unvaccinated Workers
Post by: Solar on December 04, 2021, 03:40:17 PM

Nevada on Thursday became the first U.S. state to impose a surcharge on workers who have not gotten a COVID-19 vaccine, though the penalty doesn't take effect until the middle of next year.

All but two members of the state's Public Employees' Benefit Program Board (PEBP) voted during a meeting to approve a surcharge of $55 a month on unvaccinated workers.

The approved proposal also stipulates a surcharge of $175 a month for workers' spouses, partners, and dependents 18 and older. That could be adjusted down the road.

The surcharges will go into effect on July 1, 2022.

QuoteThey'll help offset the costs of COVID-19 testing,

Again: Democrats always making people pay for other people's problems. Why should I pay for Covid testing? I don't need them.

To the lefties of this forum: will you condemn this?

The headline is a bit misleading. The "workers" are only employees of the state of Nevada. The new mandate, even extended to family members, affects roughly 70,000 Nevadans out of about 3.1 million, a bit over 2% of the state's population.

Nevertheless, we have to draw the line, the sooner the better, and the tighter the better. Nevadans have the right and the DUTY to stop this crap where it starts!

Yep, this exudes Union and DNC fraud. All thanks to Las Vegas casino money.
It wasn't until the DNC stole their first election in Nevada, (H/T to Harry Reid), no one paid sales tax or property taxes, if memory serves me correctly, the casinos paid it all out of winnings.
I think it was Reid, or maybe even earlier, but it was Reid that destroyed Nevadans way of life, as if living in the desert wasn't bad enough.

The upside? Nevada is about to go Red.

Yes. Besides being about 3/4 owned by the federal government (by the "people of the United States," don't you know), Nevada is more than a little strange. It's frightening to consider that Black-Eye Harry was probably one of the more normal Nevadans.
