Can't see it being for me. But I imagine every kid will want one. Guess the next generation will not even know other kids exist.

My second thought was that the price of new gadgets like this
always starts out really high, and then comes down.
In a year or two, these things will be under $500.

My first thought was military applications for the technology.
I first saw something kind of similar to this proposed in the 1990s.
The technology was to be built into helmets for fighter pilots.
Information from the aircraft instruments was to be
projected onto the helmet visor.
Optics would make the information appear to be
at the same distance as the enemy aircraft.

When the price comes down, this technology could be built into
helmets for troops on the ground.
I've been thinking for years that
combat helmets could be made much better.
They could be made full coverage, like motorcycle helmets.
They could have headphones built in.
The headphones could be like the ones you can get in the hunting stores,
with the microphones so you can hear your surroundings,
but go silent for 1/4 second when the gun fires.

Such a helmet could be mated with technology added to the gun,
so that the aim point of the gun would be
displayed on the soldier's helmet visor.
What the gun sees could be displayed on the visor.
The soldier would actually be able to stay hidden behind a corner,
hold the gun out, and shoot a target without exposing himself!

And if the USA isn't the first to develop and deploy all these features,
China will be!
Here are the 10 RINOs who voted to impeach Trump on Jan. 13, 2021 - NEVER forget!

The military has had it for over a decade. Though each helmet configuration is well over a million a pop pre soldier.
