AZ Audit Finds 74,000 Ballots Returned and Counted in 2020 Election with NO RECORD of Being Sent Out!

Audit expert Doug Logan noted that the auditors reported that there were 74,000 more ballots that were received and included in the 2020 Election in Maricopa County than were mailed out.
Logan reported this along with other issues already identified per their work.

They found 74,243 mail-in ballots with NO clear record of them ever being sent!

"The people who vote in-person use ballots provided at a Vote Center."

Then there should be less mail in ballots, not more.

Based on what I understand, there are two types of ballots: early ballots (mail-in + early Vote Center) and in-person/election day ballots.  What they're saying is that mail-in and early ballots are all lumped together.

I received an unsolicited mail-in ballot, but I didn't use it, but had I done "early voting", I would have had a mail-in ballot in the trash at my house + I would have voted at the Voting Center.  Technically, I would have two ballots associated to me, right?

I watched the video and he's explaining why it's taking so long - sloppy practices that make it difficult to audit.  But, he said that the overall number of originals (25K) matches the duplicates (25k), it's just their process of documenting duplicates is sloppy and could lead to duplicate counting.  He does not say that happened, he's just talking about best practices, or lack of, and the problems it COULD cause.

QuoteThe Arizona Senate held a hearing yesterday with audit officials which revealed mind-blowing discrepancies including over 74,000 more ballots RECEIVED by Maricopa County than the number of ballots sent out.

The OP references the 74k extra ballots.  My first post, the Tweet, is addressing that.  My response to walkstall was also address the OP.

I'll address it again...

I live in AZ and every year my wife and I get a ballot in the mail.  We've never used it - it goes in the trash.

According to the Tweet from Maricopa County Elections, they lump 'early voting' together as a combination of mail-in ballots AND in-person early voting at the Vote Center.

The reason they would have 74k received is because AZ sends out over 4 million mail-in ballots, but people can, and do, go to vote in person rather than use their mail-in ballot.  IF they go and vote early at the Vote Center, there is now one "extra" ballot out there because one was mailed to the person but they decided to vote early, in-person - again, Maricopa  Country puts these two ballots in the same pool.  If my wife and I voted early at the Vote Center, we would each add 1 "extra" ballot to the total.  In a state where 4 million ballots are mailed out, it's not difficult to see how 74k people would receive, but not use, their mail in ballot in favor of voting early, in -person.

No, dummy, it's the other way around. Ballots have to be requested.  74k MORE BALLOTS MAILED OUT than requested.

This isn't hard.
