No Joke, in a democracy, the entire mob elects everyone, in a Republic, the people elect Representatives, in turn, they elect the President representatives to the Electoral, which elects the President.
That,s the difference in democracy mob rule and the rule of law. This cancels out democracy!

I disagree. In a democracy, we elect people to represent us. The democratic part is our elections.

You can also have a democracy where every one votes on every thing, but that would be even less efficient than the one we have now.
Rules of Engagement

noun: democracy
a system of government by the whole population or all the eligible members of a state, typically through elected representatives.

Reps pre 1912 = mostly Progressive
Dems pre 1928 = mostly Conservative

North Korea has a Democracy under the guise of a Republic.
It's the fact that our electors choose the POTUS which totally negates your claim's.

Again Joke, show me in our Founding Documents where the word democracy is mentioned.

Ok.

There are different types of democracies and republics. Some are autocratic, some are representative, some are direct, some have monarchs, some have constitutions, and some are powered by the people.

There's many ways to skin a cat.

Sorry, I must have missed where you provided proof via our Founding Documents stating we're a Democracy and not a Republic.

Sick Of Silence

With all these lawyers with cameras on the street i'm shocked we have so much crime in the world.

There is constitutional law and there is law and order. This challenge to law and order is always the start to loosing our constitutional rights.

Frauditors are a waste of life.

Ok. I don't care that you don't consider us a democratic country. I do and I'll continue to do my democratic duty and vote every chance I get in our free and clear elections.

If you don't want to consider the Presidential election democratic, feel free. You can't deny that ever other election is democractic

Dog catcher
Tax appraiser
Councilperson
Mayor
State Rep.
State Senator
US Rep.
US Senator
Sherriff
Commissioners
etc.

The Presidential election, in practice, is usually elected that way too, in the 46 elections we've had, just 5 have gone to the person that didn't win the popular vote.

We are a very democratic country.

All of those positions are elected by the majority. Even the president is the 9 out of 10 times the person that won the majority of the vote.

You can pretend we don't have a democratic country, but it won't change the fact that we have popular elections here.
