Quote"Ray Dalio, billionaire founder of Bridgewater Associates, said Americans leaving big cities like New York and Chicago increases the risk of "civil war" by exacerbating an "ideological gap" between different regions in the United States.

"I think that it's reasonably probable that no side will accept losing," Dalio said when asked about "the likelihood of a civil war in the United States" as a panelist on a group discussion hosted by the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, and published on Tuesday.

What do you think, Civil War?
I dream of the day a chicken can cross the road with out it's motives being questioned.

Though he touches on the issue, he misses the bigger point.

"It's like sanctuary cities. They say, "I will not follow." I think what's happening now, is that there is a movement from one state to another due to changing values that's producing a hollowing out in some states, and when that happens, because the rich move someplace, or the ideologies are the same, it produces a hollowing out in other locations."

When people bail, they bail over many reasons, but if you focus on higher taxes/prices, you see people bailing on an ideology as well.\
They're rejecting socialism, they want no part of the lie that higher costs benefit the poor, simply because said ideology is making them poor.

Those who bail for red States have accepted the red State ideology of "Live and Let Live", and there's no way these people will sit quietly by as the left tries to dictate their lives any further.
He claims this could lead to a civil war, but between who?

SF and LA won't have an army willing to fight over leftists restrictions and taxes, that's a ludicrous idea.
Those who stayed behind, stayed because they have long established roots, they're invested in the land, not the govt.
In other words, there is no leftist army to fight for a failed ideology.

If he's referring to Martial Law, he fails to see nearly 90% of rank and file took an oath and believe in the oath to uphold the US Constitution.

Regardless, the left loses again!

The part I should of highlighted was: discussion hosted by the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland,

How many times have we seen something "discussed" at Davos, that then came to pass.
I dream of the day a chicken can cross the road with out it's motives being questioned.
