American vs Russia Equipment in Real Life Test

The American trucks versus Russian trucks in Syria is the only real life example of Russians versus Americans in their equipment since the Vietnam War. All Russian equipment is way, way cheaper than American. In 2020 Americans were blocking roads, but the Russians would go off-road. The American truck that cost many times more per unit did not do as well off road as the Russian trucks.

Supposedly this was because the Russian 4 wheeled trucks were lighter and the heavier trucks had 8 wheels. The American trucks are designed for off road, but the design flaw is apparently too much weight with not enough tires. The long standing claim about US built military equipment is that it is not as practically built as Russian because for the politically charged process of handing out contracts.

Even if someone concludes that both trucks performed the same off-road, the problem with the US trucks is that they cost way, way more. Note the Russian flag behind the US truck stuck in the mud.

Yeah, it's called armor. Much heavier than the Russian version.

The 8 wheeled Russian vehicle seen in the Syria chases is more heavily armed than the American trucks, that is the reason it has 8 wheels. Check out the video below of the flipped over truck in Syria. The trucks are too top-heavy. See the photo below of  how the army is coming up with ways to mitigate the problem by attaching side wheels.

In the America-Russian chases the three failures of the more expensive US equipment was:
1. Stuck in dirt due to too small tires
2. Engine breakdown due to to much weight for the engine. See 2nd video in 1st post.
3. Flip-overs due to being too top heavy.

American military equipment is selected by the Democrat controlled congress in a highly politicized process complete with "campaign contributions" (bribes) to congressmen that do not need it.

To a certain extent you are correct as regards congress

but overall you drank the same kool aid we heard back in the 70's and 80's about how the simple russian stuff would work and ours would not.

Turned out to be about 180 degrees off

Do a little more research before you embarrass yourself again

by the way we found out just how lousy most russian equipment was in Desert Storm compared to our stuff.

Of course the fact that a significant portion of the red army was drunk at any one time made it comparable to the incompetent Iraqi Army

We could play this silly game all day long, but as Winterest stated, pound for pound, Russian tech is no match for American hardware.

Enjoy. And I have a shitload more just waiting to be posted.

I do not know why you need to insult. You should be a little concerned about the fact Democrats decided on most of the equipment bought by the military.
I can show lots of pictures of American equipment failing or any other army. My post was specific to the trucks
being used in Syria when the Americans kept trying to block the Russian vehicles. The Russian vehicles outperformed the US trucks.

I insult those who deserve to be insulted.

As regards your anecdotal crap, who cares?

Oh cut the bull shit kid, your entire thread was meant as an insult, and like all libs, play the victim when confronted on their own crap.
This is what you get when you troll, and if I remember correctly, you were warned about it in the past.
So knock it the fuck off!
