Title: What if Michael Bay directed "Up"...?
Post by: quiller on August 24, 2014, 02:23:23 AM
This is one of several on the same theme: what if action-film director Bay had directed this film or that. What makes this treatment of "Up" so outstanding is how it's done almost entirely from Pixar clips and not somebody else's tweaking (excepting some very believable movie credits).

Thata's hilarious.  I've never seen "Up", but I get the jist.

No jive, squire. If you're older than 45, you will bond indelibly with the old man in this absolutely five-star classic. I mean, it is a genuinely great movie.

As a typography freak, I loved the credits-fonts used in the Bay send-up. It's the attention to detail and the hugely clever editing that wins this one...but again, by any and all means, at least view the original.

Slow build-up, great pay-off. Good find!
