Court overturns Cosby sex assault conviction, actor reportedly to be released from prison

He was charged in late 2015, when a prosecutor armed with newly unsealed evidence — Cosby's damaging deposition from her lawsuit — arrested him days before the 12-year statute of limitations expired.

The trial judge had allowed just one other accuser to testify at Cosby's first trial, when the jury deadlocked. However, he then allowed five other accusers to testify at the retrial about their experiences with Cosby in the 1980s.

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court said that testimony tainted the trial, even though a lower appeals court had found it appropriate to show a signature pattern of drugging and molesting women.

I was just logging in to post this same thing, different link.  I have always maintained that Bill Cosby was the first victim of the #MeToo movement and that he was set up.  Not everyone will agree with me and that's fine...  but I have been praying for about the last 6 months that God would not let him die in prison but would have him released.  And so I thank God for this.

I have been listening to the coverage on this and I tend to agree with you. I believe the "where there is smoke, there is fire" theory. However, based on some legal thoughts from folks there appears to be some prosecutor misconduct with this case.

I loved the show too.  It was on during my coming-of-age years and one of those shows everyone my age range watched.  Certainly a part of my childhood.

If Archie Bunker, aka Carroll O'Connor were still alive, the LSM would have found a way to make him the bad guy, paint him as some sort of white hero, then force us to defend him, as if it were reality.

While Meathead literally represents the left today.

It's what the left does, they find an American icon from the past, expose their human frailties, then claim it's the reason white privilege needs to be destroyed.
