Hey supsalemgr, good to hear from you! I'm not really fond of this forum; I'm not crazy about that captcha thingy you have to use to post.

Yep y'all, BRD is a washed-up forum in Hendersonville run by a clown named Bannination who has visions of grandeur for his pet project. There are only about 6-8 members still posting, because everyone else has been run off by their hateful, acidic replies to any one who dares to differ from their one-sided opinions. Their main poster, Vrede, is on vacation and the place is graveyard dead.

They're pro-homosexual, anti-religion, anti-government, anti-social, and every other anti- anything you can think of.
FWIW, yes they do ridicule this forum, but they spend more time here than in their own backyard!   

Anyhow, just wanted to say hi to all my old friends here; don't expect I'll be hanging around much, though.

Stick around for a little while and you will get the hang of the site. It took me awhile. The regulars here share your views and values. Occasionally some of the BRD's try to infiltrate over here, but they are quickly recognized and dismissed.

He is a good guy and just not used to the site. He stuck around at the unnamed board I came from and hung in pretty good with the loons.

Well....kinda sorta.   I really started the thread because I wanted to touch base with all my former friends who I used to post with before the know-it-all poster from Hell ran them off.

For me, it's kinda hard to stay focused on all the different boards, and if I've gotta do that dad-blamed, annoying  captcha thingy everytime I post, I don't have the patience for that.

Who knows...? Maybe I will, maybe I won't stick around. I despise politics, therefore, politically, I don't consider my liberal or conservative. I am conservative in my thinking and Christian beliefs.

Somebody must'a had pity on me...that captcha thingy ain't there no more!

If you go to the button above marked FORUM or GENERAL CATEGORY, either one leads to the main site index and a variety of forums you might find of interest. You may find "your" special interest already covered...or a place to start threads about what isn't there.

This one's not just for you but everybody.

To make it easiest on yourself and others, do learn to use the QUOTE button which appears above every post. You right-click and highlight what you want to quote, then press QUOTE and it does your message-board HTML mark-up for you. Veddy, veddy, veddy simple...except.....

Do watch out for the bracket-set ending the quoted material, and add your comment AFTER the (bracketed) /quote coding. This keeps it easier to read and others to work with if they answer you in separated ("fisked") comments.
