Anyone living out West, this is a great source for fires. The cool thing is, the satellite spots them even before you might see smoke.

We have drop down out of 100+ into the mid 70s.  Will start getting in the high 80 to 90s+ starting Saturdays. Winds running between 5 and 15 mph next 10 days.

The wife just pulled out the heavy comforter a few days ago when I told her our weather was about to change.
I have to admit, I sleep better when it's in the 30s.

Damn, I just cleaned my computer screen. Now I know what it must feel like getting cataracts removed, that damn thing is clear and bright!

            I love all the bright bright colors that I am seeing now.  I can see the words with out my old glasses.  I will be going in on the 14th to order my new glasses, that will help me even more.

That's awesome! I was serious, I hadn't cleaned my huge ass monitor in over a year.
While I was replying to you, I thought I hit the . or , and tried to back space to delete it, it just wouldn't go away.
It was crap on my screen, so I cleaned it, and to my shock, the background was bright white, not the dull brown I'd been accustomed to.

Great new site for everything weather, fire, you name it, they have a tab for it.

Well it's that time a year for Washington State.  We now have 14 fires in the state some small some large.  We are running in the high 90s to 105º off and on.  The next 10 days will be the same.  In my area we have hit 105º 3 time in the last week and I see 4 more days come up in the next 10 days.  All the water tankers around have been loaded up with water.  All the road graders around have been check out and loaded on flat beds trucks, ten that I know of if needed.

Yeah, it's definitely summer. I broke 100 yesterday and the same today, tomorrow we go into a cooling phase for the week.
I've already had 6 fires within 5 miles of me in just over a week, but they hit them hard and knocked them out that day, no wind thank God.
We have one fire that's been burning for over a month in the high country, too rugged to get equipment to, so they're apparently letting it burn, God only knows why, check it out.

Well they say starting Friday we will have 8 days of 100 +.  With the high of 113º on Monday 6/28. 

Look like the fire's in Washington state are out.  Two in Oregon state yet.
