Sadly, yes! To be more specific, Libs are responsible because Marxists lied to them.
The lib bleeding heart is led to believe that any interference with nature is criminal, and must be stopped with violence if necessary.

All those violent wildlife groups who interfered with logging (A renewable process) were in fact exacerbating the wildfire issue.
Their interference stopped all clearing of dead forests, sick trees were allowed to stand under the guise, it was a natural habitat for bugs, which feed the birds.

No matter how you slice it, libs have always interfered with the natural cycle of nature.
The Native American used to set fires in the forest to herd the wildlife for the hunt. Because these forests were old and in their final stage of growth, (meaning, the conifer is the final stage after brush and and oaks died off) there was no under brush. just clean, healthy forests.

A perfect solution to keeping the forests healthy, burned debris returns nitrogen to the soil and the forests prosper.
Conifers change the Ph of the soil, keeping other specie of plants from growing, much in the way oak trees give off a toxin so nothing can grow under its canopy and competing for nutrients.

Well, after Clinton killed logging in the West, there was no one to care for the forest, and here in Ca, the forest was off limits nearly everywhere you went, which meant even off road vehicles were verboten.
This allowed for growth of brush where there used to be wide open areas for camping, racing, soothing etc., all locked up, and nature took over.

I will make a prediction about the cause of this fire. They will probably find it was an offroad vehicle, since it was in an offroad park area of the forest.
These areas used to get a lot of use, but with restrictions in the forest, less have been riding the trails, and all it takes is a hot muffler in tall weeds to spark a fire.

Anyway, all of these fires are a result of Marxists failed policy... Or were they really a failure?

They've just closed the entire El Dorado National Forest. Literally outside my back door!
I don't know how they'll accomplish this, but with actual hot embers falling in Tahoe 15 miles away, I get it.

It took a raging forest fire to get the state to OK forest Management.
The fire was raging out of control, so fire fighters got out ahead of the fire and cleared the forest floor, the very thing we've been demanding and the very thing Trump told Nucellini to do when he came to Ca.

It looks like the fire might jump Hwy 50 and the American river canyon to my side of the county.
There is an upside, it would first make contact with the King fire from a few years back, cutting down on the available amount of fuels.

With S/S/W winds pushing the fire, a lot of communities will be in its path, min included.

This is my County from Sacramento county to Nevada, a huge county, the yellow is warning and should evacuate, The red is mostly fire, with an exception of the part by Tahoe, they expect that to possibly burn tomorrow due to high winds out of the S/S/W at 40Mph.

Here is the fire in a nutshell. It's damn near impossible to fight, so instead of putting lives in danger, they try and steer the fire away from large communities by doing backfires.
During this time, the fire rages through communities. FTP's are sent out to scout properties with the best defensible space, meaning they cleared the area as best as possible for defense.

If there are 5 homes in the area and only 3 have defensible space, they will most likely be saved because they can, the other two only have themselves to blame....

Fire is now heading for Tahoe at 64' per minute...

I awoke to very heavy smoke this morn, temps in the upper 40s, daytime in the mid 70s, should be in the upper 90s, but smoke and cooler winds are keeping it cool.

Normal air pollutant indexes (AQI) run from 0, healthy, to a max of 500 PPM, dangerously unhealthy, our hit 800 PPM last night.
Yes, it's real bad, about 400' visibility or worse depending.
