Then he runs up the mountain, stays outside soaking wet and plays in the snow having a ball all by himself.
Not really smart enough to know he's probably cold.

Lux likes to come in and wipe himself off in our bedroom.  If I don't get the door shut in time he will go in and wedge his head between the 2 comforters and them proceed to walk around the bed drying himself off.      Still love the guy... 

So we have had a little rain the past few days.  We decided to check out the creeks at the bottom of the property.  The first video starts with the smaller creek and at the end you see the larger one.  Mother nature at her best cleaning things up.  Second video is the larger creek.

In the last few days we've had about 8 inches of rain.
This is normal Ca weather, in the sense that Ca cycles regularly through drought to deluge on average 7 to 10 year cycles.
We're ending the regular drought, so for the next couple of years, it will be wet, then another 5 years dry, rinse and repeat!

It's been awhile but with all this rain not much is moving around.  Caught this Tuesday morning below the house.

We have been seeing some deer.  This group came down the road (outside the gate) around 1:00 am.  Looks like they made a full loop and came back up our side.

So, put my humming bird feeder up a week ago, never got a bird. Today, 28 degrees, 1 inch of snow, and this little guy shows up at 7 in the morning.
