May 23, 2014.  Graduation Day at Shannon Private School in Grnvl.SC.  My grandson, Cameron,. graduated and will be going on to Grnvl. Tri-County Tech before transferring to Clemson Unv in Grnvl., SC.  He will enter Clemson as a ROTC student.  Cam is an A honors student and an Eagle Scout.  His life goal is to finish all required schools and a service (AF) comittment as military police, then go into forest management as a civilian.

Another grandson, Kenny, is a rising junior at Dorman High School in Moore, SC(just outside Sptbg., SC).  He is also a ROTC student and this year was invited to speak to the county board of trustees on how the ROTC experience has helped him at school.  He was the county wide choice of sophmores to speak on behalf of the rest.  As a result of that inquiry, the district was awarded more money and new computers for the upcoming school year.  Kenny has been taking home awards since 4th grade.  He was the recipient of the county's Good Citizenship award in 5th grade and also that year was invited to join the Jr. Beta Club.  He has maintained his good grades and wants to go to the Citadel in SC or Wofford under the ROTC program.  His life goal is in criminal justice.

Katie is my youngest grandchild and a rising freshman at Dorman  with her brother.  She graduated from my old alma mater (Fairforest but now a middleschool) yesterday.  Hers was the biggest surprise in that she not only graduated with honors but took home the rising star award which is an award given for the most excelled and then the principal's award, the most prestigious award given at the school.  Katie will be in ROTC with her brother.  She was a football cheerleader last year but had rather play chess and tennis.  She is a pretty little girl with blue eyes and blond hair which she has been growing long.  It is now hip length.  Katie talks, right now, of a career in the medical field.

Kenny and Katie have excelled under Christian conservative values.  Their mother has been in a nursing facility since 1992.  My son has done a great job with these two.  Of course, granny helped but the biggest job was from their Dad.

Congrats to all you guys, going forward.

Congratulations, all! Earning Eagle rank in Scouting is work! Planning, organizing and carrying out an Eagle project would be a significant effort for an adult, and Scouts, by the rules, are under age 18.

You can not post photos that are from your computer, they must be uploaded to a place like photobucket first.

Yes! Screw Mozilla!
I had the worst time setting up Iron, but now it works great, just like Firefox used to, till they went to bed with the NSA.
I really don't know, but that thing is so damned top heavy with BS, it's about to roll over.

I don't know about any of these except Photo Bucket and I'm sure these kids have used that one.  Lessee now, how to bribe one of 'em to help ole' senile granny get this thing going.  I'm not as senile as they think I am.  You see, I happen to know that either one of three would be only too glad to help once they thought their pretty faces would be on yet another site.

Thanx you all for the heads up, maybe I can post some pics before too long.
