And don't give me any of that crap that she was found 'Not Guilty'. There's a world of difference between being 'Innocent' and 'Not Guilty.

I have no idea what it was about the case that captured the public eye. The shallowness of the American public is constantly and vividly on display with the prominence of this case in the news cycle. (They only report as long as they can make a buck doing it.)

Sure, Casey is guilty; of course she either did it or was in on it.

But the prosecution failed. The DA couldn't even venture an OPINION as to the cause of death, nor could the coroner. Without that, there's no murder case. How could there be? "We don't know what killed her, but we know it was murder." WTF is THAT?

Every crumb of circumstantial evidence points to Casey as the one responsible for the death of the child, but it's our law that circumstantial evidence is not enough in a murder trial. Comparisons to the O.J. trial are inevitable, but essentially invalid. The O.J. acquittal was a verdict determined primarily because O.J. is black; the black jurors voted in his favor for precisely the same reason they voted for Dear Leader in 2008 and will vote for that congenital idiot in 2012: RACE. The Anthony acquittal has nothing to do with race.

And there it is TBone.   You are precisely right as to the capture by the people.   Cant blame the jury,,,they were not given what they needed to get a "guilty".  But they will suffer it.  The prosecution FAILED, cut and dried.

She'll make her money and she will blow it....    Then she will have nothing.     I am thinkin thats a given,,,new life, spot light where she can get it, people will buy and suck up everything they can.   Then she will become old news in a while.   

Although I do not think her being compared to OJ as race.  Its more, yes,,, we all believe he did it,,,just like we all believe she did it.      She like he are caustic, a sideshow thing to see.   Never really forgiven, but allowed in a curious kinda way.   I just wonder when she will implode,,,just as he did.
