I worked at the genetics lab for the USFS right in the middle of the area and would ask for night shift as along as the festival ran.
Sadly, we're about to come up on that time of year again at the end of this month.

I love the area up there.  Almost bought a beautiful piece of property, about five acres, in Pollock Pines. I think I mentioned that before.

Yep, that's the area. See? Be glad you didn't buy, you'd have to deal with tourists at apple hill and skiers from the Bay Area in the winter. Summer is a whole other issue.
