Sorbo rocks.

He made a point that I've made dozens of times myself. John Kennedy ran for president in 1960 as a liberal Democrat, a counterpoint to the so-called "ultra-conservative" Nixon. (Ever notice that there doesn't seem to be such a thing in the lexicon as "ultra-liberal?") Sorbo mentioned Kennedy's inaugural address, but you can look also at his other speeches, as well as his policies and his actions while in the office. JFK could not be a Democrat today. Today's Democrat Party wouldn't have him. In fact, he'd have a rough time fitting into today's Republican Party because the GOP has drifted to Kennedy's left.

Thanks for sharing this!
