So begins another round of 4 days.  Got in last night.  Himself is not up to parr so I had my medical friend do a once over on him.  He's been way over doing it lately.  Between flood repair work and a highly likely reflooding event that left us alone by inches but trashed an apartment complex we deal with, me thinks his self just let him know its time to stop.   I haven't slept much listening for any odd sound, you know the ones.  Then of course, Lira decided at 5ish to go off like we were being attacked by zombies.  Thru some clothes on, leashed her and out the door lickety split.   Nothing....figure it was a coon and she and it went face to face thru the glass.
Today was to be a lazy day on two pontoons. But that got changed to a pool side party. Followed by fireworks at the high field.   Which means I have to go buy a suit, maybe, then again its still early yet and I haven't checked the radar..  Might see if I can bring Lira so she and her bestie Bo can play...

Good morning   ..had a pretty good day yesterday.  Himself relaxed all day and feels much better.  This is good.  Saw some friends and they like my new ride.  After they left I cleaned the cabin from the last high water event , I didn't balk at him when he was doing the tiny things. Now it looks normal around here.
Quick got ready n jumped in the car and went to our friends place for a BBQ.  Very nice it was.  They said I should have brought Lira but naaah not having a wet dog in the car just yet.  You see Bo and Lira like to run and jump on the in ground pool floats.  Neither like to be in the water but on the water for their way of think in is just fine.  After dinner we came back and got the pontoon ready.  Party barge time. 2 tooners tied up and headed to the landing, anchor off kick back tunes going and let the show begin. Nice it was.  Then back to the dock.  Those that had to work today or had to go home left then we condensed to 1 boat and enjoyed
An evening cruise.  I don't know what's going to happen today. But we'll take it as it comes and go with the flow... ;)

Very nice quiet day for use MeLady.   Until about 10:00 P.M. when Boardman 5 miles away started in with there fireworks.  LOL

A few high power speed boats playing in the river down below that you can hear off and on.  But I am sure they work very hard and needed a day of play time.
As school is out most bring in boats for waterskiing and jet ski for a 4 day weekend.

Sounds like a good one to have Walks. We had our quiet yesterday.  But, Lira does have a new playmate now.  He's a very well mannered boxer from Spain.   He and his Mom are here for 2 months then back across the pond they will go. They are camping across from us.  Nice group they have the cutest little girls.  Their parents are from Romania.  I have to giggle they spoke to me in English first but after the dogs were doing some serious playing I guess they got comfortable and decided I knew their home language lol. I did feel bad for Lira,  she tried hard to get her new friend to follow her so she could
Share her pool.  It did not work. She cooled off and came back for play time round 2.
OK..cell phone is acting up.  Gotta start the crock pot anyway.

Ahhh so Sunday comes.  Nice morning it is.  The smell of breakfast wafting on the air.  People slowly coming out of their campers or tents.   Some are probably really glad there is cloud cover.
Bruno the spainard is looking for Lira to play with.  They have gotten along famously, she will miss him.
Yesterday we got all the little stuff done.  Stereo placed, camper leveled the nit picky things.  Friends came over and friends cruising by on their pontoons.  Nice seeing everyone.  We loaded up both pontoons and went down river to get our spot in the river to watch the fireworks at skydive.   Must a been about 20 boats anchored all over the place.  Music going, lots of " how do you do's".  Then on the close horizon came a really nice display .  We didn't know that was gonna happen and it was really pretty.  Then the plane went up.   At that point the music was switched to pink Floyd right at the same time the parachutes fell with white flares. Four of them and 3 others had strobe like lights it was neat to see. Once they got down the show began.  A big display for a long while. Perfect night..
And then our friends pontoon ran out of gas lol.we pulled him back with our boats.  I put glow in the dark necklaces on lira and Bruno , that was funny all ya saw was neon yellow n red circles floating in the dark lol. Made some popcorn and watched the pups play.
Now its a quiet Sunday morning... someone has calm music playing ...time to clean it up and pack it for next weekend...
