Ice Cream, you scream, we all scream for Ice Cream!

We went to the store yesterday and of all things we found peach cobbler ice cream. It wasn't peach but close enough so I snatched  it. We alsio got a bx of Grapenuts. It's been months since that stuff was in the stores. BTW Grapenuts was the very first mass marketed breakfast cereal.
Crazy but not stupid!

Grapenuts...?  Really?   I remember those commercials - and the reply, "It's neither Grape, nor Nuts", we tried it, with lots of sugar, it was ... just ... OK.  Masking that cardboard taste, whew!

Wheat Thins is another one, tastes like flattened, hardened Graham Crackers + SALT.  LOL - we still eat them, with Cheese.   We're a WI family in diet, cheese enhances almost everything.   And Pickles, gotta have pickles, this time of year, we really like dill pickles, and Franks Sour Kraut (lived on an adjacent farm to Franks, Franksville, WI).

the Lime-Vanilla is just heavenly.   It's somewhere between Sherbert and Icecream.  Vanilla is like frozen sweet cream.   These guys know how to make it soooo... right!!!

I think we're keeping BOTH machines, at some time in the future, we'll "gift" someone with one of them.
All animals are created equal; Some just take longer to cook.   Survival is keeping an eye on those around you...

I'm not too crazy about sweet stuff so I guess that's why I like stuff like Grapenuts and hate stuff like barbeque sauce. Good barbeque done right donn need no stikin sauce anyway.

I hate it when any meat is doused in sauce. If anything, it just needs a little.

Wifey's sister, husband & parents are blowing into town tomorrow.

We're making up Vanilla, Chocolate, Lime & Strawberry - mixing it up, when they get here, into the freezers!

87 degrees outside... none of it will be wasted.

Wow...!   Mixed up a batch of Vanilla last night, let it all marinate, melt all the sugar, etc., overnight, into the Musso MINI Lussino 4080 Italian Sorbet Gelato Ice Cream machine...  and just enjoyed a wonderful Root Beer Float.  Very FIRM soft serve consistency, ready to scoop into cones or a container for the freezer.

Just can't get over how creamy smooth this makes ice cream.  Dairy Queen is pretty smooth, and this is smoother than that!  I guess that was Covid relief money - blown on something we're get occasional use, and probably enjoy as a guilty pleasure for year to come.
