So winter has started for some.

BOSTON — A rare October snowstorm was expected to unleash heavy, wet snow and wind across much of the Northeast on Saturday with some areas bracing for up to a foot of snow and major power outages.

Heavy snow was already falling by mid-morning across parts of Pennsylvania with about 10,000 residents in the state, Maryland and West Virginia already without power, according to AccuWeather.com.

The early season storm that was starting as rain and changing to snow as temperatures dropped, was expected to hit hardest areas west and northwest of the I-95 highway corridor.

Were looking at snow next week, though I'm not looking forward to it.
We've been in the 30s all week, so I guess it should be expected. :'(

We have had 3 night around 27 to 30 this week but we are back up in to the 50's now at night.  Today it was  91º in the sun at 9 A.M.  The Dude (cat) and I sat out on the deck for 3 hrs.  Well she just laid around.   :))   I don't look for snow until mid Dec. I hope.    But then we are only at 500' ABSL

Damn, thats hot! :))
We are lucky to hit the 60s now, and like you, I didn't expect snow till mid Jan, but this year has a La Nina taking place and my area is expected to get more snow than average, yours is supposed to get more moisture than normal, maybe even snow more often as well....

If you remember right, we had  La Nina last year also.   Our first snow was Dec. 27th.  I remember as our neighbors booked out on the 26th for Arizona for 3 months.

Looks like another harsh Winter on the way. We've had freezing temps in SW Florida these past two years.  :-\
