I have just recieved a call from waste management..... because of the heat,,, put your cans out tonight so they dont have to be out in the afternoon heat.   Me,,,well, I have just got done blacking out all sun facing windows.  I am sending Himself out tomorrow with a huge thermal container full of ice water.... Me thinks the whole midwest is gonna be under the gun for a couple of days.   So many states are literally cooking.    The heat,,,the humidity due to the the flooding from North Dakota to Louisiana,,,its nuts.   Today they shut down Lake Michigan due to fog.  Today the fog was so thick, life guards could not see the people in the lake....
Bring lots of water,,,lots of water...wear loose fitting clothes.... eat lots of fruits n veggies......
Just be darned careful in this muck.... They say it wont move til Monday......

I for one love the heat, but then we don't have the humidity that you have.  That and I worked most of my life in 100+ dry heat.    But I also drink over 3 quart of water a day.   Funny I just posted something around heat in Healthy Living.

The humid is very bad.   Everyone woke up with condensation on the windows..... no worries it baked off right quick...    Pretty much the tech part of the midwest is sweatin.    Heat index of 115 max tomorrow, then Thursday 110, but Friday shouldnt be so bad,,,,,, only about 100.
The joys are just, well there's no real word for it,lololol

Yeah, it's toasty in the Midwest...  But we're on our 22nd day straight of a heat index above 105 deg F (40 deg C - supposed to be 115 deg F - 43 deg C - tomorrow) - 97 to 102 deg F, with 83-88% humidity (totally saturated).  And that's out at Pudong Airport - 20 miles from the heart of Shanghai where it will be 5-6 degrees warmer...

I hate summer in Shanghai.  Fall, Winter, Spring is great - but summer really, really sucks!
