A few weeks ago, I found a Breedlove at a used Music shop. One of the first requirements that I insisted upon before I even played the guitar is that it MUST be American made. I explained to the salesperson that I did not want any foreign made guitars, at all!

What was handed to me was an American made, (Bend, Oregon), all Mahogany, concert size, with electronics built in, bone nut and saddle, acoustic guitar. One word of caution though. Breedlove like most manufacturers, does have some that are made in Communist China to get the price down. Breedlove also makes American made acoustic guitars. The American made ones are a little more expensive but, IMO, are much better in quality and sound.

I could go on and on about sound but, let me just say this. If I was called to be a taste tester at a factory to make sure that the taste and quality of one batch was as good as the 10,000th, I could not do it. The taste buds like the ear, have to be developed.

Quite honestly, the guitar plays and sounds much better unplugged or plugged in than my twice as expensive Gibson "000" acoustic ever did.
