Many FaceBook apps are owned by Experian.  You know what Experian is right?  They are one of the three major credit reporting companies.  Why do you suppose they would have an interest in gaining access to peoples FB accounts?  ;)

Apparently not.  They are not hacking into anyone's accounts, it is all dependent on the way your profile is set up as to how much of your information is accessible to your friends, but if you have an Experian app or one of your friends has an Experian app and your page is visible to them, it's also visible to Experian.
