OK, I want to warn everyone. Acute bronchitis is no fun!
I thought I was suffering form a chest cold for the past couple weeks, but the symptoms seemed to be resolving. Lo and behold, yesterday, I coughed once, coughed twice, then fell out like a sack of crap. The Mrs says I turned purple from coughing so hard. I don't remember it. Typical loss of consciousness.
She drove me to the hospital where I was admitted for an overnight stay, and a multitude of nebulizer treatments to bring the inflammation, mucous production, coughing, and muscle tension under control. I just got home a couple hours ago, and let me tell you.....HOSPITAL FOOD SUX!
Of course, having a couple hot nurses at your beck and call isn't so bad..................too bad they weren't my nurses
Glad to hear you came through OK, that's scary, especially for your wife. :scared:
I was getting a haircut last Fall and a tiny piece of hair went past my mouth as I was inhaling, I couldn't quit coughing.
That's when my throat started to close off and I couldn't breathe, luckily the lady cutting my hair had an inhaler and quickly grabbed it and gave me a few puffs.
With in a couple of seconds I could breath again.
Now I keep a couple around me all the time.

After some of the things I've done, the wife doesn't scare easily.
