Medicare is good. Don't miss the chance. There is a reason it is losing money.

We've decided to sit down with the financial planner and ask him to guide us through it.  You're right; it's a slippery slope but we just need to dig in.

Yes. Simply, the program pays out more than it takes in from premiums. That is losing money on a program.

What premiums? Medicare runs on friggin taxes and always has. A premium is something you pay for voluntarily by choice. When the government takes something from you by force leaving you no choice, it is not a premium, it's either a friggin tax or outright theft but it sure as hell ain't no friggin
premium.
This is how people get so bamboozled. They accept any crap shoved down their thoats and regurgitate it without giveing it any thought whatsoever and without making the slightest effort to think first.

Are you not aware that Medicare premiums are taken out of SS payments? The rest of the expense of the program comes from taxpayer funds.

Maybe if you look around some you can find an adult education English class for yourself so you can brush up on comprehension of the English language. You sure as hell don't seem to get it or understand what I'm trying to tell you.
Are you really that thick or are you just playing dumb?
Again a premium is something you pay by choice, it is not something taken from you by force.
