Hmmmm, I guess that leaves me with the eating and the crying phase, but I would never mention that during the gun period.

Sooooo True! ST gets in her puttering mood and I just let her go, in hopes she doesn't hide all my tools again.

At first I thought it was early onset of dementia, that I really never had the tools in the first place.
Then in the middle of a project, I set a tool down, only to catch her in the act of cleaning/puttering, or in her world, organizing.
So I followed the little pack-rat to her hideiehole, only to discover I didn't have dementia, just an overly efficient female living in a mans cane.
She was trying to organize my life. :scared:

I had to completely rethink my life plan at that moment, and the answer was a new cave, a WORKSHOP!!!

  I now have a workshop, and the kids are gone.  But the cat keeps taking my tools.  Sometimes I find them a month later where she put them.   Well that's what I keep telling my wife.

I don't blame ST, 90% of what she stores away are tools, but she has never see many of the tools I have.
To her, pliers, screwdriver and hammer are tools, beyond that, it's just crap laying in the way.
