So, since covid19 Ive been quite worried about the possibility of a wuhan like scenario being trapped in your apartment, possible food shortages (Norway relies heavily on imports, we process all our fish in china etc). I might be a little paranoid but better to be prepared.

Ive stocked up on a lot of dried food, Canned food etc. I have some tanks of water (I always have those in case something should happen to the water supply).

I need to have som first aid kid lying around, whats important to have in a first aid kit?

Also, if someone tries to loot our apartment for food or something we need a weapon of sorts. Our options in Norway Are severely limited. Our options Are esentially a crossbow (not good for self defense Id say, maybe hunting xD Even though thats illegal here. Yes you got that right, hunting with a longbow is illegal), axe or small machete or knives. Im lesning towards the axe (my husband is quite big and strong thankfully Id run in the other direction if I saw him with an axe xD). A gun takes 12 months to get , if you Are even approved (its only after 12 months of being an active member in a ahooting club you Are allowed to Apply to have one in your house...).

Am I the only one worried about this virus? Am I being paranoid?

You can make your own pepper spray...

No, you are not paranoid, I've been warning that people need to be prepared, buy rubber gloves, alcohol, surgical masks etc. Not that it's definitely coming, but being prepared comes in handy, because all of these items can be used over the years if they aren't needed immediately, so no money lost.
So far the US has been successful/Lucky in keeping the virus contained, but if it does start, like the flu, it will quickly spread.

I too order a lot of crap, so I take care in washing with hand sanitizer.

The masks are sadly sold out here, been that way for a month and no one has restocked. I bought some off eBay Hope they get here in time if something should happen.

Yeah I guess pepperspray+ axe Will be our gun replacement. Im gonna get to work on getting a gun though, for another time .

It seems most people here Are not taking any precautions. They gather in large crowds, Norway is letting in chinese tourists still etc. But im trying my best to be prepared

That's all you can do, like insurance, or wearing a seat belt, or gloves wen working, it's all about being prepared for the unexpected.

Most people do not understand they can make there own gun(s) out of things around the house or shop.  You can find how to do it on the net.  But make sure you know what your doing first.  They are not toys.

Wifey just got home with 3 bottle baby cows.  (Long term food).

I've been popping crows who have been sneaking in and stealing the ducks food - the ducks lay eggs, clean the area of bugs, and can provide a nice dinner.  Popping crows with the shotgun, meh, it reminds the neighbors, "they are armed, possibly dangerous & not an easy target... try someone else."

As for the crows, they are slow learners, and I don't take kindly to them attacking the ducks to get at the feed bowls... this ain't no welfare, charity, farm!  We kill predators without hesitation.  And the Back Hoe goes on the tractor in just a few minutes.. we've had a little practice with coyotes.

Which reminds me, anyone who cannot think of a scenario where a 30rnd magazine might be necessary, has never face a pack of coyotes ravaging, killing for pleasure, a bevy of ducks!   Even under gunfire, they continued the killing - none of this 2 shot gun blasts would have slowed them down - they didn't stop, even as I was picking them off as fast as I could draw a bead on them.  I buried a lot of coyotes & ducks that day, and wiped away a lot of angry tears from my kids faces.
