I chuckle as Solar describes our dogs.  The big one, Butters, I know would die protecting me or one of the other dogs.

We do have one "bait" dog, she was mine when Solar and I met.  She is the nosiest one when outside.  And yes she has different barks for what is going on.

On the other hand if our big dog barks we know something is not right.
