Reminds me of "Minnow", an underwater game played in the deep end of the pool, the "Shark" is treading water in the middle, and when "Minnow!" is called, everyone swims from one side of the pool to the other, underwater. If you get pulled above the surface before reaching the ledge on the other side, you join the "Sharks". (no fins, snorkle, etc)

English saddles are the best design ever, beats the shit out of Western tractor seat crap any day.
I could run cattle all day on one, but western style beat the crap out of ya, unless you were doing cutting horse runs in rodeo saddles, but those weren't distance saddles.

Yup... try an 25-50-100 mile Endurance Ride in a Western Saddle, you and the horse are exhausted and covered in sores from rubbing. A decent Hunt Seat saddle was my first choice. I drag rode a 50 miler the day I got married... ...those were the days!
But for cowboy polo, where you're hanging all over the sides, slipping and falling with your horse - might be a bit more dangerous with a horn, but I kinda liked Western all-the-way. Horses knew the difference too, polo time was like Hockey on Horseback, body checking with 1000lbs! When you see a "Bonine" barreling at you on this huge Chestnut Quarterhorse - do you have the guts to "defend your goal & steal the ball" or "jump out of the way"...?
Even the quiet Montana types can get riled up when horse & rider go skidding on their side across the sawdust. "
