Major League Baseball (MLB) what's in the players contracts.....? Does it say if no fans attend the ball games the players salary will be prorated....?

When signing a player to a MLB contract both sides sat down, looked each other in the eyes, came to an agreement, shook hands, and sign the contract.

This puzzles me. Why would people watch, what was once consider the all American sport, (as American as baseball and Apple pie) want to watch a bunch of spoiled little Marxists insult our nation?
