Some conservatives were outraged after the legendary Vanessa Williams sang "Lift Every Voice and Sing," the Black national anthem, while hosting PBS's 41st annual A Capitol Fourth celebration on July 4. Well, they're about to pop a blood vessel: "Lift Every Voice and Sing" will reportedly be performed at all NFL pregame ceremonies, starting with the September 9 season opener.

According to Front Office Sports, performing the Black National anthem is part of the NFL's social justice messaging initiative. However, the outlet also reports the NFL declined to comment.

I'd rather watch NCAA games anyway, esp the SEC conference.

Just a random thought, for the left to further divide this country by race, this is necessary, just like  Kaepernick taking a knee to get the divide started. Sports was an area where men did not care what color a person was, loyalty was to the team they played for and the team they supported. Men of ALL colors could join together in support of their teams, drink a beer together and have something to talk about all week. The left had to stop this. Just add this to the growing list of things that the left has destroyed by injecting their politics.
