Ugh, StackOverflow...   those guys get on my last nerve.  I'm not saying there aren't some intelligent contributors over there but, for the most part, those guys are just condescending LARPs.

I totally agree.  I haven't been on there in a few years.  The last time I was there, I got into an argument with a mod who downvoted me for saying an answer from a version of the framework that was years old (I think it was 11 years old) was no longer valid.  The answer to the person's question was from an old version and I said it was too old.

The mod said that the answer is still helpful and it's OK if it was from an old version.  I told the mod that he obviously doesn't write code and shouldn't be a mod if he's going to say stupid things like that.

I've caught this kid Forrest Knight a few times as he occasionally does some non-coding stuff,  like rants.  He did one on Stack Overflow.
