I know for a fact that much of our posts are copied and pasted all over the web, but ever wondered if some of your best work is being plagiarized?
I don't mind if people use our posts as long as they credit the author, but that's not always the case..

So copy some of your best work and paste it here.

No redirect link necessary, just move it. Thanks...

Interesting link.

Goes good with the one that tells ya (or guesses) that the-paragraph-you-just-wrote was written by a male, or female.

Nothing happened.  And I ALREADY know a piece of my 'work' was plagiarized.  (Hell there was a whole BLOG dedicated to it).

OMG!!! That's great!
I just posted a quote from Cpic, here was the results. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

QuoteGenre: Formal
  Female = 35
  Male   = 51
  Difference = 16; 59.3%
  Verdict: Weak MALE

Weak emphasis could indicate European.

Solar I know that usually plagiarism refers to the theft by someone of another s written works. But I while being no author by any stretch of the imagination. Can identify in a way.

As some know, I am a digital artist.

And I have given up on trying to prevent my work from being stolen and then used without permission by every tom dick and harry that finds it on the internet.

For example on the day of September eleventh, in the year of our Lord Two Thousand and one, after having watched the news footage of the planes hitting the trade towers, and seeing people jumping to their deaths, rather than being burned alive. I created a crying eagle image, posted it on my Renderosity.com gallery.

Now that image is on T-shirts, bumper stickers, mouse pads, coffee mugs you name it. And all without my permission and all without me having ever received so much as a red wheat penny for it's use. (and in that instance thats ok, we were all Americans on that day, not libs, not repubs, not conservatives or progressives, AMERICANS)

However the answer I've come up with, to prevent the theft of my works, is so simple it's hilarious really.

Rather than going through the hassle of filing DCMA complaints with this or that company who own this or that domain/website.

When I find someone is using my work without permission. When I have this or that fellow artist run to me to tell me hey they're using one of your images here, without your permission.

I no longer care. Because I simply do not post anything online that I will care about someone stealing.

See I told you it's that simple really. :)

However that said, I for one am shocked to find out that folks actually use our posts here in that fashion sometimes.

Sheesh pretty bad when a person is too lazy to type their own damned comments in a political forum. :)

One of every five Americans you meet has a mental illness of some sort. Many, many, of our veteran's suffer from mental illness like PTSD now also. Help if ya can. :) http://www.projectsemicolon.org/share-your-story.html
And no you won't find my "story" there. They don't allow science fiction. :)

They walk among us you man.

It's a shame young man, my sister in law does art work and sell it on the net.  She makes money at it in more then one way.   She will sell it out right, get royalties for her artwork and she is also commissioned by private individuals to do artwork after people see her work.  She has been do this now for 15 years.  She no longer has to take her artwork to a gallery, they come to her.
