Three New Jersey Brothers Charged With Making More Than 45 Million Robocalls

How many times a day do you get calls about your car's warranty? Finally fed up with it? This story will do your heart good.

That's because the Feds just busted three brothers who were behind "more than 45 million illegal robocalls", according to CBS. The brothers, from New Jersey, are going to have to pay $1.6 million in a settlement with the Federal Trade Commission as a result.

The FTC alleged that "Joseph, Sean and Raymond Carney initiated more than 45 million illegal telemarketing calls to people across the U.S. between January 2018 and March 2019" to sell a line of septic tank cleaning products.

31 million of the calls were placed to people on the FTC's "Do Not Call" list.

People working for the brothers "falsely told consumers they were calling from an environmental company to offer free information on their septic tank cleaning products," the FTC's suit alleges.

Finally! My mom actually got worried once when I deleted one of their messages they left, until I explained thats not how car warranties work.

The only reason scams like this work is because people arent educated enough.
Scratch that. They are perhaps TOO educated with lib brainwashing.
They arent taught to think critically and to use common sense.

Bingo!
The elderly are the most vulnerable after idiot libs.
My parents were trusting people, they were raised in a time when people looked out for one another and govt was very small.
We depended on the good nature of community. That's gone.
