Man, this is just tooo weird. I have no idea if this is innocent, or a passing of the poison to do Trump in.
I'm certain Trump knows where all the players stand though.

This pandemic has changed our lives in odd ways.  We now talk at distances. Shopping is an obstacle course - as well as a patience builder for people like I.  Dinner is a drive through and at home where it used to be family more isolated. TV dinner has new meaning. Cathedrals are now hospitals.  Mosques, Synagogue and churches are empty lots. I hate these masks but now wear one - sometimes. Parks are crowded with walkers and beaches are closed to them. Truckers speed along alone and lines form before stores open. TV is a statistician and not a good one. Trump lies - I guess that's not new. Fauci warns and now talking heads all appear from a computer.  I have my computer eye blacked out. We call friends now well some friends.  What do lip readers do.  Death is more alone than ever.  And the end of all this appears vague and unknown.

A few items of interest.

At this point it seems too overt, this is intentional, meant to be seen....baiting for a reaction - to be fired maybe

TDS is strong in this one.

People sleep peacefully at night because there are a few tough men prepared to do violence on their behalf.

A foolish man complains about his torn pockets.

A wise man uses it to scratch his balls.

Yes, this is too weird. The thing is, Fauci loves the media attention, and if he tries to trip up Trump, he commits suicide as far as being in the worlds spotlight.
At the moment he's walking a tight rope, and it's a long way to the other side of the canyon.

True, but to LEAD the Resistance, ahh, that might be the ultimate goal in his eys....especially as PDJT starts easing us out of this nightmare shutdown...

he'll have his soap box, and the media will make it a pulpit.

That's always a possibility. But does anyone really listen to the left anymore? I don't, I ridicule them at every turn.

Here is an unintended consequence of the  "crisis"

https://www.desmoinesregister.com/story/news/health/2020/04/02/health-care-workers-laid-off-patient-visits-drop-during-coronavirus-pandemic/5089438002/

"By the end of June, as many as 60,000 family practices could close or significantly scale back, leaving 800,000 of their employees laid off, furloughed or working reduced hours as business declines during the coronavirus pandemic, according to data released Thursday by the American Academy of Family Physicians and HealthLandscape.

That represents 43% of the nearly 1.9 million people employed at family medicine offices, including receptionists, medical assistants, nurses, physicians, billing staff and janitors.

The figure doesn't include reductions at hospitals and specialty clinics that are also feeling the pinch.

The situation is a Catch-22 of sorts. As hospitals and emergency rooms deal with a surge of patients affected by the coronavirus, clinics and other health care centers are seeing a decline in elective surgeries, procedures and preventive care like annual physicals, well-woman visits and regular teeth cleanings."

One thing i take  issue with is this "surge" of  corona  patients they refer  to. Yes the  model trump used to make  policy  did  indeed show  surges  its apparent they didnt  materialize. If you feel hospitals  in the  nation are overflowing and  unable to handle  the  load  please feel free to contradict  me. I  am having a  hard time  finding  pictures  of these  places where patients are  literally  storming  in and  unable to get care.

So, as  many as  800,000(and as the article says that  isnt  including  hospitals) will be added to the  already  16.6 million(with millions  more to come) who are  now  unemployed.

Now that  you  mention it  i will only add that since the  hospitals  have alot  more free time  on thier  hands than anticipated perhaps its time to allow them to take  in more  patients.

Most hospitals have canceled elective surgeries, so there is no need to stay open, especially if they aren't being hit with the virus.
Keep in mind, hospitals are not govt owned.

No they arent  govt  owned but they did  get  some  encouragement from the surgeon general

https://newsthud.com/trumps-surgeon-general-jerome-adams-advises-hospitals-to-cancel-elective-surgeries/

"We know we will soon see our hospitals flooded with patients – treatment works but as we saw in Italy and China the key is to have access to hospital beds and equipment. A sudden influx will overload the system so you can expect to see more hospitals start doing this.

"Hospital & healthcare systems, PLEASE CONSIDER STOPPING ELECTIVE PROCEDURES until we can #FlattenTheCurve!" Adams tweeted this morning."

That  was  his reasoning that was based  on a horribly  flawed  model. We didnt  see  our  hospitals  flooded with patients so i think the surgeon general should  consider allowing  hospitals to take  in more  patients. Let  me  change  "allowing" to encouraging.

Here  is an article  some  may find  interesting.

https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/coronavirus-pandemic-projection-models-proving-unreliable/

"My use of the term "off" is intentional. There is no shortage of government spin, regurgitated by media commentators, assuring us that the drastic reductions in the projections over just a few days powerfully illustrate how well social distancing and the substantial shuttering of the economy is working. Nonsense. As Alex Berenson points out on Twitter, with an accompanying screenshot data updated by IHME on April 1, the original April 2 model explicitly "assum[ed] full social distancing through May 2020."

I am amazed  i seem to be  one  of the  few who are concerned freedom can be extinguished because  of this  hideously  flawed  model. Is this  how  little  we revere freedom? This  model has  allowed 40+ governors  to become  dictators. I dont  care for  it.

This also goes to my point in another  post  about  medical people and thier extensive  training. We are going into what  is  likely to be a depression, we are  under the  control of  40+ despots all because these "extensively  trained" people were so ignorant?
