Where Would Trump Be If He Had Run as What He Is: the Amnesty Candidate?
BY ANDREW C. MCCARTHY

Trump has expressly vowed to give legal status to millions of illegal aliens. For any other candidate, such a promise would have been the campaign death knell. To compare, John Kasich -- who is openly pro-amnesty -- has lost 38 of 39 primaries (the sole exception being his own state) and has never been a plausible contestant. When it comes to Trump, however, it seems that the all-important amnesty fine-print of his immigration position has been overlooked. This is no doubt due to his consciously controversial rhetoric: his fixation about building a wall on the Mexican border, his oft-repeated commitment to mass-deportation of illegal aliens, his disparaging comments about Mexicans, and his proposed moratorium on Muslim immigration.

When it comes to Trump, it pay to read the fine print.

Trump has repeatedly stated that the undocumented foreigners would go away, but he'd let them come back in.

The issue isn't about preserving our culture or heritage.  The issue is about registering human beings and being able to put them under surveillance 24 / 7 / 365.  America now wants to live the Orwellian nightmare.

Don't expect too many out there, to even know what your talking about.

Let alone agree with you that this is where our republic is headed. Hell is Orwell's work even taught to school kids these days?

I know Mark Twain isn't.

But yeah, trust me I know, I am absolutely convinced from a historical perspective that we are making the same mistakes with our republic.

Others did with their's in history. And in the end, wound up as a nation paying a steep price for it too. Rome, as well as Germany, come to mind.

But that said welcome to the forum.
One of every five Americans you meet has a mental illness of some sort. Many, many, of our veteran's suffer from mental illness like PTSD now also. Help if ya can. :) http://www.projectsemicolon.org/share-your-story.html
And no you won't find my "story" there. They don't allow science fiction. :)
