Operation Gideon: the photos presented in The Hague that prove the extrajudicial executions of the Maduro dictatorship

The International Criminal Court (ICC) received on Tuesday a report from the Venezuelan opposition Wilmer Azuaje in which it is denounced that six people who died in the framework of the so-called Operation Gideon were allegedly executed extrajudicially. Infobae had access to the photos presented by Azuaje. "We will analyze the materials presented, as appropriate, in accordance with the Rome Statute and with total independence and impartiality," a source from the prosecutor's office of the court based in The Hague told EFE.

The report presented by Azuaje consists of 20 pages and several annexes with 164 expert photographs taken by the Venezuelan Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigation Corps, after a frustrated maritime incursion. According to the version given in his day by the Nicolás Maduro regime, on May 3 there was a confrontation between the Venezuelan military and a raiding group upon arrival on the coast of Macuto, in the state of La Guaira, which ended with six deceased. The president later assured that the operation had as a "central objective" to kill him and end his government.
