Some contributors leave because Wikipedia has been around for 10 years and there is less demand for new articles. Others move on for personal reasons. Wales told the AP that the typical contributor is "a 26-year-old geeky male" who may move on to other pursuits and leave the site. Flame wars over edits also drive volunteers away.

Yeah but if you have the right kind of fungus you get mushrooms or truffles. All you get from left kind of fungus is athletes foot and yellow toenails.

I was thinking more along the lines of bread mold, where it infects all the bread in the drawer.

If it were merely yellow toenails, then I could put a sock on and simply ignore it.
Oh wait, after Nov, that's all the left will be, ugly smelly toes, something no one wants to see.
