Dick Morris is saying right now on FNC that the reps "could" win 100 seats in the House this year.  If only!  I'll do my part to help that happen.

Dan

I heard we were going to win 600 seats which is pretty amazing when you realize there aren't 600 seats in Congress. :P

Seriously, I think 50-65 in the house and 9-11 in the senate are the numbers I'm settling in on.
If you believe big government is the solution then you are a liberal. If you believe big government is the problem then you are a conservative.

Your numbers make more sense to me.  Wouldn't it be fun if Morris was right.  I don't know what Rasmussen says.  He's the pollster I have most confidence in, if I have confidence in any pollster.

Can you imagine just how motivated the right would be if the GOP had returned to it's roots?

I keep thinking everyone's like me.  I'm more motivated if I have to fight for something.  If I think everyone else agrees with me, then what's the point of voting?  I'll figure that I don't need to.   Again, that's just me, I guess.

And that's exactly what the left fears and that's why they continually like to mischaracterize us as fringe, bigoted, far right wing, extremist or whatever else. If they can't marginalize us then it will be hard for them to prevent us from rolling back their liberal institutions and moving the country to the right.

This is a bona fide movement. Only two things can stop us now. If our leaders don't keep the faith. Or if the leftwing press can somehow make people think their lies are real.

When you say that this is a bona fide movement, are you talking about the Tea Party?  If not, what?  I certainly believe that the Tea Party is a bona fide movement, and I like it.  That's what the nation is all about; people being able to spring forth and bring out their ideas.

I gotta go.  Late for my volunteer work at a local nursing home.  I'm always glad and somewhat surprised when they let me walk out of the door and go home.    ;D

Dan

I love the Tea Party. I think it's exactly what this country needs to focus an energy we all feel. But the Tea Party is only the expression of something much bigger. The country is rejecting liberalism. The left has overreached. They are now leading where the citizens do not wish to follow.

The early energy is a rejection of liberalism. But it will not become a true conservative movement unless we get the execution right this time. A lot is resting on our leaders. We're either going to knock this one out of the park or we will see the Republican Party split apart over the next few years. It's all in the execution.

I think the left will be in for the biggest shock in the history of this great Nation.
The MSM is down playing the true effect that the Tea Party is having, and are trying desperately to quash the movement.
But no matter how hard they try, they can't change what is going on, they can only fool themselves and those willing to be fooled, namely the left.

We are about to crack the nut, that is the Dim Strangle Hold on the Nation.

LOL!  Are you referring to that little ankle bracelet I wear that keeps making a noise everytime I walk out the door?  I gotta walk fast to get to the car ahead of the white coats.  Oh well, it's excercise, so I figure that's why I wear it  .  I could be wrong, though.   :D

My biggest fear is that no matter how big of a victory the Republicans have in November, it may be TOO LATE.

The damage that the Obamanistas have done is catastrophic, at best.

NONE of this damage can be reversed without overriding an Obama veto, which may still be a tough task.

Dick Morris reminds me of the movie reviewers like Joel Seigel who rave over every movie and say it's the "best of the year!"

Carried away is one thing. Morris is delusional. Yes, the House is now GOP. (Owned, branded, and driven-to-market.) But the Senate is still very much in play, and Morris is nuts if he thinks it isn't.

Go-along RINOs have no intention of helping roll back Obama's initiatives. If the GOP can't find the guts to stand up to these criminals, then they all deserve to lose.

Perfectly stated, Quiller!
