Russia Advances Law to Ban Pedophilia Propaganda and 'Woke' Gender Ideology

Russia's lower-lower parliament has unanimously passed a law to ban propaganda that promotes pedophilia and "woke" gender ideology.

On Thursday, over 300 representatives of the State Duma, including the chairman, authored the new law that would ban the distribution of materials promoting pedophilia, sex-change surgeries and transgender treatments, and "gender identity."

The law imposes heavy fines of up to 10 million rubles ($165,000) for violating the ban by promoting such propaganda using online channels, media, or in public.

Stateless persons and foreign citizens who violate the law would also face expulsion from the Russian Federation.

Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin said the law would help protect the motherland's traditions and values for her children and the future of Russia.

He described the "woke" ideology and indoctrination of children as a "darkness spread by the United States and European states."

U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken allegedly called on Russian representatives to withdraw the draft law.

Volodin responded to Blinken by calling the U.S. the "center of this sodom in the world."

"There is no need to impose alien values on us," Volodin said.

"You destroyed yours — we'll see how it all ends.

This nations biggest enemy, this nations biggest threat, is the democrat party. Hands down. They are evil, hell bent on destroying morals, nationalism, even common sense. They teach so many lies in our schools our kids no longer know right from wrong. They want to lock up the police and let the criminals free. To be blunt, if we could get rid of the democrats, there would not be another threat in this world to our way of life.
I would never consider Russia as a friend, although I do not consider them as a enemy as I see China, but part of that reason is Russia is no longer a world power. Another reason I do not see Russia as a main enemy is because they are to the right of the democrat party, not really a ringing endorsement but I have to admit the Russia today is far removed from the Russia I feared as a kid.  I hope in the future we could work more with Russia as Europe is nothing but a drain on the U.S.

It's weird, the USSR is the sole reason we are in the boat we're in today according to the Communist Papers 1963.
But when it collapsed, all of that changed, we had a chance to bring out the best in the failed state, but others in our govt wanted to retain the communists as an enemy, probably for the sole purpose of the military industrial complex.

I won't go into it, but I'm pretty sure the CIA was used to create disruption around the globe.

I have to agree with him on this.  The US has become a "Sodom and Gomorrah" of the times.  We no longer protect our children but have given them to the world to warp and harm.  Why are we not protecting the littlest of these...

Totally agree, without a national enemy, or say a virus, it would be harder for the democrats to try to take away rights. And you nailed it on the CIA creating disruption, wherever the disruption was created it was because the government in charge was not receptive to a one world government. It damn sure was not because the CIA or our government cared about the people.

I think its important not to talk about just America, but to realize there are, culturally, 2 Americas, a red America and a blue America. Red is traditional America we all know and love, while blue America is America which isnt really even American anymore, having abandoned everything that made America America.

Point being Im tired of people overseas seeing miley cirus twerking and thinking thats part of the same culture as Im a part of. Im not part of the lefts culture and the lefts culture isnt truly American. SoS is right that it came from Europe yet it seems to also be in opposition to traditional European culture. Waking up each layer of evil gets harder and harder the higher you go, and at some point they are unsaveable and simply need to be defeated and their power taken.
