Wearing medals you didn't earn?Why would anyone do this other then to show disrespect?

If I remember correctly, it's only illegal if you are trying to defraud and profit from it.
Otherwise it's just a scummy dishonorable thing to do and he should be publicly humiliated for it.

Stolen valor law signed by the last real US President (Bush) makes it a Misdemeanor to falsely represent oneself as having recived such medal.

Unless this idiot claims he earned those medals there is nothing you can do for someone wearing them or a US Uniform.
